EAT THE SCORE
– Workshop –
We look at ways of re-shapig music we have at our disposal, either in a purely visual form, or as a way to re-create the music in a different way. Bring along some old music – or use ours – by 17th or 18th century composers such as Purcell, Haydn and Bach. With the help of scissors and glue we will “re-construct” and digitally screen print your inventions on the risograph, and bring them back into sonic life with the help of Istante Collective
LITTLE THINGS IN ODD SHAPES
– Performance –
As part of our long-term project of rescuing music by lesser-known composers (who are often overshadowed by the ‘famous one’) as well as re-arranging better known music for our little group. Expect operatic aria, show-off concertos and classical music presented in a digestable form
